"The goal of a conscious and responsible therapy cannot be the creation of a world without problems, but rather the effective confrontation with the problems that arise" (Watzlawick, 1986).
About
I am a Registered Counsellor living in Blenheim New Zealand, who has practiced since 2018. I have worked in a variety of settings, and have been in private practice since the beginning. My practice is split between providing counselling for children over 5 years old, teenagers, adults, couples and families; providing coaching for people in management roles, and providing trainings and consultation services for community and corporate organisations.

Greetings to all
Aconquija is my mountain
Gastona is my river
Diaguita is my tribe
Argentina, Spain and Italy are my ancestors that link me to these things
I'm from Concepción
I live in Blenheim in New Zealand
My last name is Menchini Villaluenga, my name is Lucia.
I share with you a proverb:
“My language is my awakening,
my language is the
window to my soul”.
By so, greetings to all,
greetings to all of us.
Pepeha
This is a greeting that places me as an Argentinian women in the northwest of my country. Further specifically, it links me to my ancestral home at the mouth of the Gastona river, a river that is formed by the contribution of several smaller rivers that drain portions of the Tucumán jungle and others that come from the heights of the Aconquija mountain range. These links form my identity and give me knowledge of my place in the world and the responsibility to transmit that knowledge to those who come after me.
My clinical approach
I am deeply committed to helping individuals enhance their emotional health and overall well-being. I don't believe that any single therapeutic approach holds all the answers to life’s challenges, so my style is eclectic. I use a systemic approach, always working towards the goals my clients set. I integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Problem-Solving Therapy (PST) and Narrative Therapy in a cohesive way. Throughout the process, I maintain a warm, approachable, and grounded manner.
